In 2015 Sometech introduced the world's first HUD (head-up display) based 3D video surgical microscope without eyepieces, pioneering a new market segment and surgical paradigm. As the clinical precision and safety of its 3D laparoscopes and 3D video surgical microscopes have been validated, leading global players have since followed suit.
