Kim's Console is Sometech's patented console-type 3D monitor. The surgeon looks into the console and perceives the full stereoscopic depth of the laparoscopic image without wearing 3D glasses — no glare, no darkening and no colour shift.
The console attaches to the VLS-200 and COT-200 3D video digital laparoscopy systems and is positioned in front of the surgeon at the operating table. It keeps the head-up posture of monitor-based surgery while adding the comfort of an eyepiece-free, glasses-free view.
